Supporting outdoor learning
We know that taking learning outside the classroom can be rewarding but also takes planning. To make it easier, we provide a wide range of resources to support teachers, youth leaders and educators. These materials are designed to link directly to the Curriculum for Wales and help young people connect with the special qualities of Bannau Brycheiniog.
All of our resources are free to use, and most can be downloaded and used straight away. They can also be adapted for different ages and abilities, making them suitable for primary, secondary and post-16 learners.
Teaching Packs
Ambassador Schools Pack – a complete guide for schools taking part in our Ambassador programme.
Outdoor Learning Course materials – resources to support teachers in building confidence with outdoor learning.

How to use our resources
Each resource is designed to be flexible. Some can be used as one-off activities, while others are best delivered as part of a wider project. Teachers are encouraged to adapt them for their own learners and use them to spark curiosity about the natural world.
