About the Authority

The Bannau Brycheiniog National Park Authority is the organisation responsible for managing and protecting the National Park. Our role is to conserve and enhance its natural beauty, wildlife and cultural heritage, while also helping people to enjoy and understand the Park. We work closely with local communities, Welsh Government, and partner organisations to achieve these aims.

Resident information

Around 33,000 people live within the National Park. We provide information for residents on planning services, community support, and opportunities to get involved in the work of the Authority. Whether it is guidance on local development, access to funding schemes, or community newsletters, residents can find the support they need through this section.
