Information for tourism business

Here you will find data about tourism and details of how we support tourism businesses

Introduction

Each year Bannau Brycheiniog/Brecon Beacons National Park is visited by over 4 million people coming for 5.4 million days and spending more than £412 million here (2023 figures).

Many in the National Park rely on income from these visits. The National Park Authority works with its partners to ensure that tourism brings as many benefits to the communities, attractions, and tourism businesses, as possible whilst minimising and managing the impacts the visitors have.

Become an Ambassador for your favourite national park

The Bannau Brycheiniog Ambassador Scheme was originally developed to support the local tourism industry but offers high quality training to anyone who wishes to learn more about the National Park.
