Becoming a volunteer
Volunteers are a vital part of caring for Bannau Brycheiniog. By giving their time, skills and enthusiasm, volunteers support everything from practical conservation work to welcoming visitors and running events. Some choose to help regularly, while others get involved in one-off projects or seasonal activities.We welcome volunteers of all backgrounds and levels of experience. Work experience
As well as paid roles, we offer opportunities for young people to gain experience and build skills. Our annual work experience programme gives Year 10 to Year 12 students the chance to spend a week with us and learn about different aspects of the Authority’s work. We also provide volunteering opportunities and specialist training, such as our Youth Wardens scheme, for those who want to play a part in caring for the Park.
